Well, it looks like the Mini 10 won’t be alone. the Dell Inspiron Mini 12 netbook is now on sale at Amazon.com. Available in 4 different colors with a 12.1-inch Glossy LED LCD screen (1280×800 resolution), this netbook also has the following specs:

  • 1.33 GHz Intel Atom Z520 Processor
  • 1GB DDR2 RAM
  • 80GB Hard Drive
  • Windows XP Home,
  • 3-cell rechargeable battery (24WHr, potentially 3 hours of life)
  • 1.3mp Web Cam

Of course there can be certain tax and shipping advantages by purchasing through Amazon instead of Dell, especially if you happen to have a Prime membership.
