Laptop Magazine has published their review of the Acer Aspire One AOD250 Netbook:

It’s been only a few months since Acer debuted its Aspire One AOD150  netbook, but already the company has come out with a slimmed-down model, the AOD250 (AOD250-1165), which is both thinner and lighter than its predecessor.

Our configuration of the AOD250 (with a 3-cell battery) will set you back $298; the AOD250 with a 6-cell battery will cost $349 when it’s released in June. Considering the extra runtime involved, we think it’s worth spending the extra $50. Acer makes it easy for users to upgrade the hard drive and RAM on the AOD250, both of which are accessible via removable panels on the system’s underside

You can read the entire article at Laptop Magazine.  While they enjoyed the lighter/slimer design and bright display, the felt the keyboard was somewhat cramped and the touchpad too small. Netbook Dads with normal-to-large hands should take note.
